BRITS who haven't had a holiday in years could get up to £450 off their next UK break.
The government has launched a new "England for Everyone" scheme, offering free trips to families.
The new scheme has been created by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) in association with Family Holiday Charity and VisitEngland.
The project will provide £600,000 to fund the breaks, with more than 800 holidays available over the next few months.
Trips will be given to families who have not had a holiday for four years or more, and will help those who struggle financially or have had problems with their health or bereavement.
Trips will range from short breaks from Monday to Friday or weekend breaks.
Each trip, worth up to £450, includes accommodation, such as campsites, caravans and lodges with allowances towards travel and food.
Lots of free activities will also be provided by VisitEngland.

VisitEngland director Andrew Stokes said: “This partnership is a first for VisitEngland and will reach sectors of society who don’t have access to domestic holidays.
“We are delighted to be working with the Family Holiday Charity and delivering the ‘England for Everyone’ fund will support families facing tough times to enjoy our wonderful destinations and experiences and have a memorable holiday in England.
“We want everyone to be able to take a short family break and benefit from spending time together, reconnecting and recovering from the pandemic.”
Tourism minister Nigel Huddleston added that they hoped to provide the holidays which are impossible for many families, to help people "improve their mental wellbeing".
Family Holiday Charity chief executive Kat Lee said they were pleased to be able to help more than 800 families take advantage of the holidays, which will help parents, kids and carers take some of their first breaks together in years.
To be included in the scheme, families can be recommended by social workers or teachers, with the Family Holiday Charity working with registered referrers.
