How you can get an extra free day at Chessington this summer – with stays from £48pp | The Sun

CHESSINGTON has released new deals on overnight stays, with a free second day in the park.

The deals start from £48pp a night this summer, but you'll have to be quick to bag the bargain deals.

Included in the price, you'll get an overnight stay and a 2-day entry to the theme park, zoo and SEA LIFE aquarium.

Plus, you'll get free breakfast and early ride time between 9am and 10am, on both days of your stay.

To get the free extra day, you'll have to book by June 17.

But the offer is valid on all stays until August 4.

The £48 per person rate is based on two adults and two children staying in an 'explorer glamping tent'.

Alternatively, if you plan on staying at the Resort hotel, you'll receive some extra freebies, including exclusive hotel entertainment, free parking and wifi.

And if you're booking a premium room, you'll also have access to the Savannah splash pool and free access to the 'Rangers Reserve & Ride'.

'Reserve & Ride' is an app that virtually queues for you, so you can still shop around or go on other rides when the lines are really long.

With more than 40 rides, attractions and over 1,000 animals, a second day is an excellent option at Chessington.

A good trick to make the most of your two days at Chessington is downloading the ‘Chessington Resort’ app to find the shortest queues, ride availability and daily offers.

The app also shows you the nearest toilets.

Guests will also find new attractions at Shipwreck Coast, which include two new rides opened last summer, Trawler Trouble and Barrel Bail Out.

The new World of Jumanji land also opened last month, featuring the park's first rollercoaster since 2004.

The new ride will speed you through a jungle landscape in the arms of a mandrill (monkey).

After being flipped upside down, you will reach a 55ft (16.7m) summit and be sent spiralling to the ground before heading back around the ride backwards.

As well as the stomach-churning rollercoaster, the expansion also features two brand-new rides: Mamba Strike and Ostrich Stampede.

You'll also find a Jumanji-themed maze (based on the film's board game) and themed food, drinks, and merchandise.
