A CRUISE ship worker has shared a sneak peek into the less glamorous side of her job.
Melissa, known as @meliesctravel on TikTok, posts videos about her daily life working on board a cruise ship.
The least glam part of being on a ship, though?
It's the laundry room.
Two decks below sea level, you can see the crew laundry room complete with washing machines, dryers and ironing boards.
It also houses cleaning supplies and fresh linens for staff – and guests don't go down there.

You can watch Melissa clean and vacuum as she reveals the less fancy part of her seemingly glamorous job working aboard a ship.
The video racked up an impressive 11,400 likes and over 100 comments.
As part of her insider video, Melissa even takes you on a tour to the incinerator, where the crew get rid of their rubbish.
Melissa said: "That's what a typical afternoon in my life as a crew member looks like.

"It's not all beach days. Unfortunately we still have chores to do. And we try to fit them in our schedules whenever we have some free time."
But it's not all so bad – the staff mess, where the crew eat their meals, is "elegant" and well-decorated. The food doesn't look so bad either.
Fans were quick to comment on the video, and some were surprised at the insider information.
