I'm a flight attendant and passengers always make the same mistake when leaving the plane – we hate it | The Sun

A FLIGHT attendant has revealed the worst thing passengers do when they leave the plane.

They wrote: "Not acknowledging us or looking us in the eye, not saying please and thank you.

"We are people, too. Please treat us with respect."

Another crew member agreed, adding: "Thanking the pilot while deplaning and ignoring me or not even looking at me — how insulting.

She said: "You'd be surprised how many people step on board and won't even make eye contact with us but will still try to hand us their trash on their way in without saying a word.

"We are only human, but if your flight attendants can say good morning to over 200 people in a row, I think passengers should be able to say it back at least once."
