A PILOT has revealed the best seat to book on the plane if you are terrified of turbulence.
Garrett, 29, has been a pilot for more than a decade after getting his license when he was 18.
Now working for American Airlines, he often shares some of the secrets of the job on his TikTok account.
He recently gave advice to travellers who are scared of turbulence.
There is a certain place in the plane you should sit, he says, to reduce how much you feel it.
He explained: "If you're near the wing route you actually are absorbing most of the turbulence in the wing route so therefore you will feel less and less bumps throughout the flight."

Madeleine Doyle, who was a flight attendant for 20 years, agreed.
She told Thrillist: "The plane is built like a teeter-totter, and the most stable part is over the wings.
"Turbulence is worse in the back of the plane — it's much bumpier.
"If you think you’re going to be sensitive to that, sit over the wings."

Yet another pilot said in the case of severe turbulence, the pilot isn't controlling the plane at all.
Pilot Eser told Sun Online Travel: "With severe turbulence, we don't control the plane.
"That doesn't mean it's going to flip upside down or anything, it's just not in our control at that moment, but it's still flying.
"It obviously ends at a certain time and then we're in control again, and we need to gain or lose the altitude or, whatever state the plane's in, we have to correct that."
If you want to track whether your flight will have turbulence, there is even an app for it.
The Turbulence Forecast app can help passengers prepare for their flights, and let them know how shaky they can expect their trip to be.
The app provides passengers with the same information that pilots and cabin crew have access to, that predicts how much turbulence there will be on each journey.
The app description says: "You have access to all the maps flight crews use to make your flight as smooth as possible.
