Jet2 CEO Steve Heapy said they had decided to launch summer 2022 early due to "strong demand" from customers booking holidays in advance.
He added that with the "positive news about a vaccine coupled with a real desire to get away," families can lock in a good deal for next year.
Holidays are currently banned for the whole of England until mid-February under a tough new coronavirus lockdown.
But there is considerable confidence from both the Health Secretary Matt Hancock and the head of the vaccine task force Kate Bingham, that we will be able to go on our summer holidays this year.
Bookings for this summer are surging in the UK and abroad and there are a number of sales from travel companies.
Jet2's January sale includes £100 off holidays and 10 per cent off flights, while Ryanair also has cheap flights for sale right now.
The easyJet sale has up to £300 off holidays and 40 per cent off flights.
