Last minute hotel and cottage breaks for July from £120 – as companies report near-sell-out June

IF you haven't yet booked a summer staycation, you might want to consider doing so ASAP, as accommodation across the country is booking up fast.

UK travel companies are reporting that they are either close to selling out, or have already sold out for this month.

There's been a surge in demand for UK holidays this year, as many Brits swap their usual foreign holiday for a staycation.

Warner Leisure Hotels recently reported that all of their rooms are completely sold out for June.

They do, however still have last-minute availability for July, with dinner and Bed & Breakfast summer breaks that are covered by a Coronavirus Guarantee, in case you need to cancel your plans.

Travel companies like Snaptrip are also offering great value breaks based on last-minute cancellations from other holidaymakers.

Created with the high demand for holidays in mind, those who hunt for the new cancellation tool on their website can save up to 50 per cent on their next cottage holiday.

We recently reported that as many as 90 per cent of summer holidays are sold out as UK tour operators warn that bookings are still soaring.

Since UK travel restrictions were lifted there has been surging demand for staycations especially in popular destinations such as Cornwall, Devon and Dorset.

The UK boom has also followed uncertainty regarding holidays abroad, with many popular countries like Spain, Greece and France still on the amber list.
