A MAN managed to bag a four-star holiday including return flights with his family to Turkey for just £10.61.
David Leitch, from Darlington, paid the tiny sum to spend seven days in Antalya with his wife and kids.
The bargain holiday was part of Jet2's Bid for a Break campaign, which lets Brits bid for holidays across Europe.
To take part, customers need to decide on the price they want to pay and place a bid.
If they are the only user to bid that amount and that amount is the lowest, they will buy the holiday for that price.
Bids open at 9am every Monday, with different locations to bid on until Thursday, with winners announced that day.
Mr Leitch said he was in "disbelief" having won it for his family.
He told local media: "I honestly can’t believe I have just bought a break with Jet2holidays for £10.61."
"My family love Turkey, it’s our go to holiday location, so I’m over the moon to have placed the successful bid.
"I’m so excited and can’t wait to head off on this much-needed holiday. I’d urge everyone to get involved, as you’ve got to be in it to win it, after all."
Steve Heapy, chief executive officer of Jet2 and Jet2Holidays, said: "Congratulations to David who is the tenth lucky holidaymaker to successfully bid for a holiday with Jet2holidays."
He isn't the first to grab a bargain -a woman paid just 2p for a seven-night holiday to Crete including return flights with the Jet2 scheme.
And in August, Fionna Siddons, from West Yorkshire, bid just £1.60 for a seven-night holiday to Santorini with Jet2 – and won.
Even if you aren't successful, all applicants will get a discount code for £100 of their holidays with Jet2.
