Man shares horrific '29 hour flight' with kids screaming the entire plane journey – and people are saying the same thing | The Sun

AN IRRITATED passenger has shared footage of a child screaming throughout what he claimed to be a 29-hour flight to Germany.

Henry Beasley, one half of New Zealand-based music duo Balu Brigada, was on the flight to Berlin when a child sitting nearby began screeching loudly.

Footage shared via the musician's Tiktok account showed Henry's continued irritation as the child's wailing fails to stop throughout the long-haul journey.

Henry invited people to "rate my 29-hour journey to Berlin" at the start of the video before admitting that the kid has "got some lungs".

Throughout the video, Henry twitches his eyes to show his frustration at the screaming.

At the end, he rates the child's efforts 10/10 saying the kid put in a "stellar performance" and showed "incredible stamina".

Flights from New Zealand to Berlin take around 31 hours, with two stopovers.

People responded sympathetically towards the musician, saying the parents shouldn't have taken the child on board.

One said: "Kids don't even remember anything from those trips. Why would anyone do that?"

Even parents were inclined to agree that small children shouldn't be taken on planes.

One said: "I know some people don’t have the option, but I never took my babies or toddlers on flights. Ever. It’s painful for everyone."

A third offered a pretty dubious-sounding solution to the problem.

They said: "My mom used to give my brother and I cough syrup or something to make us drowsy and we'd nap the whole flight.

"At least she was considerate."

Of the 3.7million people who have seen the video, several said they'd be happy to pay more for child-free flights if possible.

Some airlines have offered such flights, including areas of the plane where young travellers are not allowed.

Low cost airline Scoot, which has flights between the UK and Thailand, has a child-free zone called ScootinSilence, with any kids under 12 banned.

The Sun Travel's Sophie Swietochowski tried out the airline – here is what you can expect.

They aren't the only airline to help travellers who want to avoid kids – Japan Airlines has a feature which allows you to check where babies are sitting on a flight.
