For those looking to travel early on in the year, the cruise line’s Adriatic Affair itinerary starts from just £883pp on an all-inclusive basis – even tips are included.

The 7-night itinerary departs on May 5, 2022, and will call at gorgeous cities in Croatia (Dubrovnik, Rijeka, Split), Italy (Ravenna for San Marino, Venice) and Slovenia (Koper).

You’ll be travelling on the Marella Explorer 2, an adult-only vessel that’s also one of the newest ships in the fleet.

On board, there are nine different food outlets to choose from, including fine dining restaurant The Dining Club and Nonna's, a casual Italian spot where you can make your own pizzas from scratch.

For sailing later in the year, you can choose from itineraries such as the 7-night Greek Mystique tour, departing September 1, 2022.

The all-inclusive itinerary – again, all tips are included – will also be on board the Marella Explorer 2, with prices starting from £1199pp.

It will start and finish in Dubrovnik, and call at Souda for Chania in Crete, Piraeus for Athens, Katakolon for Olympia, Corfu town as well as Kotor in Montenegro.
