A WOMAN has gone viral after her boyfriend upgraded his plane seat to first class – and left her sitting in economy.
Tiktok user Ellie Tindall shared a video showing her boyfriend sat in first class on a flight with the caption: "When your boyfriend books himself first class but books you economy."
She set the background song as I Hate U by SZA, and mouthed the words: "If you're wondering if I hate you, I do," to emphasise her point.
The video has been watched 1.4m times and received thousands of comments from people who would not have been happy if they were in her situation.
One person wrote: "I would've broken up with him right there at the airport."
Another put: "Oh my lord, biggest red flag I have ever seen."
A third wrote: "Gosh girl, leave that man", and a fourth put: "Why are you still with him".
Others thought it was fine that her boyfriend took the upgrade and Ellie shouldn't complain.

Ellie replied to the comments to clarify that she told her boyfriend to take the upgrade and she wasn't actually annoyed.
She wrote: "He got upgraded and I told him to take it because he paid for the trip! We are happy, just thought this was funny.
