Nearly 1,000 canceled flights across US as Colorado digs out following major snowstorm

Denver International Airport continued to dig itself out Monday after the city received more than two feet of snow over the weekend, resulting in the cancellation of more than 2,000 flights – including 1,300 on Sunday alone.

As of 7:30 a.m. EDT, the airport had gotten the number below 900, per FlightAware. But it still accounted for the vast majority of the nearly 1,000 canceled flights across the country and had the most cancellations of any airport in the world.

American, JetBlue and United had already issued waivers covering travel through Monday; Southwest and Frontier later extended theirs through Monday as well. Scroll down for the full list of airlines and destinations covered.
