New dinosaur-themed Gigantosaurus Land to open in the UK in 2024 – with rides, park and cafe | The Sun

A NEW Gigantosaurus-themed land is set to open in the UK in the next two years.

The new four-acre interactive play park will centre around the internationally renowned TV show.

The animated series is currently streaming worldwide on both Disney+ and Netflix.

The attraction is being created within the existing 85-acre Park at ROARR! Dinosaur Adventure in Norfolk.

Gigantosaurus Land will open at ROARR! in 2024 and will include a vertical volcano-themed drop ride, spinning flower teacups, water play, a jumping pillow, a towering wooden play ‘n’ climb den and more.

The land has been designed to encourage exploratory and sensory family play, and there will also be several interactive attractions for families to experience together.

Some of those will feature well-loved characters from the show, including Rocky, Bill, Mazu and Tiny.

A smaller play area will also be created with younger children in mind, where kids can play on a slide made from Gigantosaurus’ scales.

Visitors to Gigantosaurus Land will be greeted by a Cretaceous entranceway and they can jump into humongous dinosaur footprints along the walkways.

There will be new dino-themed food and beverage outlets in the unforgettable Den setting from the show, as well as Gigantosaurus’s dino-store, so families can take home a memento from their prehistoric day.

Work is due to begin at the Norfolk-based park in January 2023 with the first phase set to open to the public in 2024.

The new Land will be surrounded by grassland, trees and plants, with recognisable flowers from the show.

The final two phases will see additional Gigantosaurus-themed concepts introduced to the park at later dates which are yet to be revealed.

Adam Goymour, park director at ROARR! said: “We feel extremely privileged to be bringing the first Gigantosaurus Land to the UK and this is a mammoth leap forward in ROARR!’s history.

“We live and breathe dinosaurs at ROARR! – it’s what we do! And I know just how special these incredible creatures are for dino fans of all ages.

"It’s hugely exciting to be able to bring to life the wonderful world of Gigantosaurus and we can't wait to see our guests’ reactions.”
