TWO women flew to Poland for a 24-hour holiday – and it was cheaper than a night out in the UK.
Darena Bradshaw, 20, and her best friend Yasmin Lovatt, 26, flew to the Polish city of Krakow for their annual holiday together.
The two friends booked return flights from the UK to Poland for £30 and spent a mere £5 on their accommodation for the evening.
Darena told Caters News Agency: "We started doing this as an alternative to a birthday present each year and would book a mystery trip for each other to the cheapest destination.
"When we get to the location, we make sure to do the hostel bar crawl and then go for food, get drunk, and have a good time in the process.
"Going abroad is so much cheaper and so much more fun than a night out in the UK – the people are nicer, drinks are cheaper, and most of the time the weather is better."

The two friends have now visited three countries on their 24-hour trips, and plan to add more to their list.
Their short holidays began three years ago when they decided to make their birthday celebrations more exciting.
Darena added: "To pick the locations, we type the dates into Skyscanner and book the cheapest most 'fun looking' place.
