KEEPING children happy on holiday can be difficult, especially during flight delays or any long waits.

Luckily the internet is full of genius hints and hacks to help parents out with ideas.

Other people suggested other uses for the snack box to keep kids even more occupied, such as buying a second box and creating another well-known game.

They said: "You should get 2 and play guess who."

The Bast family aren't the only people sharing their parenting tips on social media.

Mum and travel show presenter Samantha Brown has revealed one of her favourite tips via her Instagram account, where she often shares how she keeps her kids happy.

Standing with a balloon in her hand, she says: "When my kids were really young, I used to always travel with a few uninflated balloons.

"This is a great toy, it takes up no room in your bag and it can be instantly inflated when a child needs to work off a lot of pent up energy, which is a lot.

"It's better than a ball because you can hit a balloon as hard as you want and it never travels that far and it really doesn't harm anything."
