Passenger left stunned after booking flight – and ends up with 'private' plane experience | The Sun

A MAN was left stunned after turning up for his delayed flight – only to be the only person onboard.

Passenger Phil Stringer was due to fly with American Airlines to Charlotte in North Carolina, only for this flight to get delayed by 18 hours.

While the rest of the passengers didn't turn up, he remained on the original flight – and found he was the only person on it.

He explained in a TikTok video: "I am the only person on the plane and they have an entire flight crew – they do not want to do this flight.

"They pulled them from the hotel to come to do this flight for just one person."

He asked how many bags were loaded on the plane, to which they said 1.

He then videoed the flight crew doing the safety demonstration just for him, to which they jokingly told him to "focus" when he wasn't paying attention.

Despite saying they didn't want to do the flight, the crew also had fun with him as they relaxed on the flight, taking selfies with Phil.

Phil added in the comments: "18-hour delay turned this flight into a private party".

He also praised the "amazing crew" on the flight and said while they didn't do cart service, they gave him whatever he wanted during the flight
