Rent an entire PUB overnight with mates & pull your own pints – from £34pppn | The Sun

LOVE hitting the pubs with your mates?

You can now rent an entire pub for the night where you can pull your own pints, from just £34pp a night.

The unique staycation is at the Poachers Arms, which once was a fully working public house and is now available to book with nine en-suite double bedrooms.

The nine double rooms have their own bathroom, with additional bunk beds and sofa beds, meaning parties of up to 30 people can stay at one time.

Two-night stays this year are available from £2,064 per stay, which works out at £34pp a night for 30 people sharing.

The Peak District former pub has kept one of its defining features – a fully working bar.

Beer, lager and cider can be requested before staying, with the owners fitting the full kegs before your arrival so you can learn to pour the drink yourself.

If you'd rather be waited on, they can also provide bar staff, but with pints at £2 a glass, you won't need any additional hands to enjoy a Strongbow you poured on your own.

Even non-drinkers will be kept entertained, with table football, air hockey, games consoles, outdoor kids play area and an indoor hot tub.

There is also a large modern kitchen, two large sitting areas which used to form the main lounge of the pub and an outdoor play area.

Each bedroom has been modernised with oak furniture and fur throws, with baths and showers in the en-suites.

The pub isn't far from the village of Hope either, with cafes and shops, while also being close to towns such as Bakewell and Buxton.

The owners include 25 parking spaces for people staying at the pub, so there is no need to worry about how to get there.

Guests of the pub have sung its praises, especially with the unique working bar feature.

One woman wrote on TripAdvisor: "The kids and adults enjoyed being behind the bar serving each other (non-alcoholic for the kids)."

Another person added: "For us the working bar gave such a fun novelty factor to the weekend, with everyone wanting to take a turn at pulling pints."

You can stay in a converted school bus for just £17pp a night.
