Spain travel restrictions: What are the rules and can I go if I am unvaccinated?

BRITS can once again head to Spain for their holidays this Easter, depending on their vaccination status.

Here is everything you need to know about a holiday to the popular destination.

Can I go on holiday to Spain right now?

Spain is welcoming British tourists as the country is open to the UK.

However, there are some rules in place depending on if you are vaccinated or not.

If you have been vaccinated you can enter Spain without restriction, and only have to fill in the Spanish Health Form.

However, your second dose must have been within 270 days of arriving in Spain.

If not, then you must have a booster, or you won't be allowed into the country.

Can I visit Spain if I am unvaccinated?

Despite confusion, Spain is still not allowing Brits into the country if they have not had both jabs.

The only exemption to this is if you have a Proof of Recovery showing you have recovered from the virus more than 11 days ago and less than six months ago.

Teenagers between 12 and 17 are also exempt from being vaccinated, but must have a negative Covid test, while kids under this don't need anything to enter the country.

The Spanish tourist board was forced to make a U-turn yesterday after incorrectly claiming unvaccinated Brits could enter the country.
