There are three different parks to explore – PortAventura Park, Caribe Aquatic Park, and Ferrari Land – and there's plenty to do for kids and adults alike.

For little ones, you'll find popular fairground-style rides such as the carousel, bumper cars, and tea cups.

While thrill-seekers will enjoy all the roller coasters like Shambhala, the park's tallest hypercoaster at 249 feet.

Caribe Aquatic Park is a seasonal water park, and it’s all about pools and slides here.

There are indoor and outdoor options for younger kids, so they don’t need to feel left out if they don’t meet the height requirements for some of the bigger slides.

On top of that, guests at the Hotel El Paso will also receive free entry to Ferrari Land for one day.

Ferrari Land is where everything follows a car theme, obviously, and you can find plenty of rides to enjoy.

There are gentler rides, but theme park fans come here just for Red Force, a launch coaster that goes from 0 to 180km/h in just five seconds.

The hotel is in the 'Mexico' area of the park, so you'll find Mariachi bands, Mayan mazes and Tex-Mex cuisine.

The hotel isn't short of attractions itself either, featuring a swimming pool, three restaurants and four bars.

The restaurants include one buffet restaurant, one à la carte, and one snack bar.

You'll also find a games room, jacuzzi and souvenir shop.

The rooms also have Mexican-inspired decor and are equipped with aircon, a TV and a fully furnished private balcony.

By staying at the Hotel El Paso, you'll also be able to purchase the park's Express Passes at a discounted rate (usually worth around £36 each).

If you don't fancy spending every day in the park, Costa Dorada has plenty to offer too.

For a beach break, Salou has miles of sandy beaches and relaxing spots to spend your day.

You could also visit Reus's historical centre or the old Roman Ruins in Tarragona.

For a theme park closer to home, Legoland is offering a second park day for free with overnight stays.
