HALF term is just days away and it can be tough to keep kids entertained all week without breaking the bank.
To help you out, we've put together a list of some of the best free activities you can do with your kids this half term.
With museums, walks, farms and beaches across the UK on the list, you'll be sure to find something you and your children will enjoy.
We've rounded up 10 of the best free activities you can do this half term.
1. Natural History Museum, London
The Natural History Museum is a great free day out for both adults and children, with loads to see and do.
During half term, the museum is holding Operation Earth, where families can play games and watch shows that are inspired by nature, biodiversity and clean oceans.
It's free to enter but you must book tickets in advance on the museum's website.

2. Bournemouth Beach, Dorset
With seven miles of golden sands, Bournemouth is home to some of the most beautiful stretches of beach in the country.
Pack your bucket and spade and head down to Bournemouth Beach for a day out where you can stroll along the promenade, play on the sand or if you're feeling brave, you can go for a paddle.
Totally free to enjoy, you might just fancy paying for an ice cream if the sun's out.
3. Tam O'Shanter Urban Farm, Merseyside
The Tam O'Shanter Urban Farm in Merseyside is a fun day out for animal-lovers.
Kids can get up close and personal with animals including alpacas, goats, ponies rabbits and guinea pigs, and hand-feed them while learning about wildlife conservation.
The farm is open every day and parking is free.
4. Liverpool Cathedral
Not far from the farm, Liverpool Cathedral is the largest cathedral and religious building in Britain, and the eighth-largest church in the world – so it's a great site to tick off during half term.
Free to enter, the cathedral dates back to 1904 and is packed with history.
It also has stunning views across the city if you fancy climbing up the tower.
5. Science and Industry Museum, Manchester
The Science and Industry Museum in Manchester is a great day out for kids who want to get their hands on some experiments.
During half term, kids can take part in some activities focusing on the human body, including using microscopes, magnets and cameras to see inside the body and using arts and crafts to make cell models.
6. Royal Botanic Garden, Edinburgh
Families can walk around 70 acres of beautiful gardens while looking out over the Edinburgh skyline.
During half term, the Royal Botanic Garden is offering kids the chance to get involved in a host of free activities.
Between February 12 and 20, children can learn about the animals and plants that surround us, find out what they need to thrive and become nature champions.
7. The Camel Trail, Cornwall
The Camel Trail is an 18-mile route along a disused railway line between Bodmin Moor and Padstow in Cornwall.
The trail is flat and free from traffic so it's perfect for cycling, with all abilities welcome.
The route passes through some small Cornish towns and villages so you can hop off your bike and go and explore.
8. Swansea Community Farm
Swansea Community Farm is a community-led charity set on three and a half acres of land in the Welsh city.
The farm has a range of animals, including donkeys and goats, as well as wildlife areas, beehives and allotments.
It's a great place to learn about different species and it's completely free to visit.
9. Hastings Old Town
Hastings Old Town is an old-fashioned seaside town, which is a great day out for kids and adults alike.
It has a small high street lined with independent shops and a shingle beach for kids to play on.
Visit the Hastings Fishermen's Museum to learn about the fishing industry and maritime history of the town.
10. Roundhay Park, Leeds
Roundhay Park in Leeds is one of the biggest city parks in Europe at more than 700 acres, including lakes, woodlands, gardens and playgrounds.
Families can enjoy the great outdoors with play areas, a skate park and children's adventure trails, where you solve clues and tackle tasks to complete a mission.
