The amazing UK holiday park right on its own private beach – and you can stay for £13.10 a night | The Sun

A UK holiday park has been praised by guests, with many loving its own private beach.

The school holidays have just started and some people are still looking for bargain trips away.

One place where they could find exactly what they're looking for is at Pentewan Sands, which is on its own beach, in holiday hotspot Cornwall.

Among those impressed with the site is Tiktoker Gemma (@adventures.withwalt) who visited earlier this month.

In a video reviewing the site, she said: "The closest we’ve pitched up to a beach in the UK yet.

"The pitches at Pentewan Sands are just steps from a lovely sandy beach, and if you are lucky enough you might even bag a pitch backing right on to the beach."

Others were very impressed with her footage, with one saying: "Looks a fabulous time."

Another said: "We are here in August. We can’t wait."

The private beach isn't the only highlight of the five star holiday park, with two indoor swimming pools, tennis courts, bike hire and paddleboarding among a number of activities available.

There's also an on-site fish and chip restaurant called Pentewan Plaice, a "laid-back beach shack" called Hubbox that serves award-winning food and the Seahorse, which offers home cooked dishes and views of the sea.

One wrote: "I love the site and we will certainly be back again! Most campers we spoke to have been coming for 25+ years and that says a lot!"

Another said: "The site itself is excellent for families. The site is on a great sandy beach. Been visiting since I was a child. So impressed I am going again in September and have already booked for next year."

A third added: "Perfect is the only way I can describe it. Super clean just enough room, cosy with great views.

"We spent a lot of time as usual on the beach collecting sea glass and popping into the Hubbox for a sneaky pint."

Pitches on the campsite start from £13.10 per night, although larger pitches are also available from £25.90.

There are also holiday homes on site, which start at £41pp per night, although they require a three-night minimum booking.
