The beachside holiday parks named the 'best luxury caravan experience' in the UK | The Sun

BRIT holidaymakers can book to stay at a holiday park in the UK with luxury caravans that are right next to the beach.

Waterside Holiday Group has four locations across the UK including three in Dorset and one in Cornwall.

And a recent study by consumer watchdog Which? ranked the Waterside Holiday Group as the best-rated luxury caravan experience in the country.

The team of travel experts praised the holiday park's "classy" caravans as well as their "beautiful coastal locations".

Holidaymakers have also been raving about the luxury caravans too.

The Osmington Mills site in Dorset has been given 4.5/5 star rating from over 100 reviews on TripAdvisor.

And it's easy to see why the holiday park has been praised by both Brits and travel experts.

According to Which? the caravans are at least 3.6m wide and each come equipped with a kitchen, windscreen TV as well as central heating, and double glazing.

Holidaymakers can also choose to glamp in a safari lodge that comes with its own private hot tub at the Bowleaze Cove Holiday Park.

Set in Weymouth in Dorset, the Bowleaze site also has a range of other onsite facilities too including indoor and outdoor swimming pools, waterslides, a splash pool, and a toddler-friendly pool.

There's also a gym, complete with a sauna and steam room, and spa too.

Two outdoor play areas, an indoor soft play area, and an amusement arcade will help to keep some of the younger guests entertained too.

The Waterside Holiday Group has two other Dorset-based sites in Osmington Mills and Chesil Beach.

At the Osmington Mills site, visitors will find a country club with a well-stocked bar, a heated swimming pool, and a play area for the park's younger guests.

There are similar facilities at the Chesil Beach site too where holidaymakers will find a swimming pool, arcade, a play area, and a gym.

The Chesil Beach holiday park also has plenty of outdoor activities too including watersports and bike rides.

The Waterside Holiday Group also has one holiday park in Cornwall.

Tucked away in the rural countryside, Tregoad Holiday Park has an indoor swimming pool, a family room with a pool table, an outdoor play area, and a restaurant with a bar and an outdoor terrace.

Unlike the other holiday parks, Tregoad is 2.2miles away from the nearest beach, which is a seven-minute drive.

Sun Online Travel found two-night weekend breaks from £663, and four-night weekday stays from £973.

This isn't the only holiday park in the UK that Brits have been raving about in recent years either.

Potters Resorts is the UK's only all-inclusive holiday park where guests can help themselves to unlimited free drinks.

Meanwhile, a new holiday park could soon open in the UK, with luxury holiday lodges, lakeside views, and a restaurant.

Work has already started on Widdrington Lakes Holiday Park in Northumberland.

But this isn't the only holiday park set to open in the UK, with plans also approved for Hollybush Lakes Holiday Park in Aldershot in Hampshire.

The 16.5-acre site, which is situated near the A331, will feature nine floating holiday lodges with three to four bedrooms in each building.
