The best Halloween fright nights at theme parks this October | The Sun

HALLOWEEN is just over a month away and theme parks everywhere will be adding extra spooky elements in order to scare their guests.

Here's how some of the best-loved parks are planning to spook their visitors this year.

Chessington

From Saturday, October 15, Chessington World of Adventures will be hosting its Howl'o'ween event, which sees the return of some family favourites, as well as some new attractions and activities.

The Witches of Adventure Point will be back again this year casting spells all over the park, as well as Wilf the Werewolf, who is joined by Violet the Vampire Bat in their show The Misadventures of Wilf & Violet.

At the newly-opened Shipwreck Coast land, guests have to avoid Broady’s Band of Brigands to help the Mayor of Shipwreck Coast, whose prized fish has gone missing.

Legoland's Brick or Treat celebration takes place throughout October, and includes a new 4D movie ‘The Great Monster Chase!’ featuring a cast of Lego Monsters.

A new live show inspired by the 4D movie will be held at Heartlake City, while the rest of the park receives a Halloween makeover for the month.

Disney lovers will be able to purchase exclusive souvenirs dedicated to Disney Villains and Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.

There will also be new treats for the occasion, including a Maleficent Sundae, Mickey Mummy lollipop and selected cocktails and mocktails.
