A MAGICAL theme park in the Netherlands – which has been hailed 'better than Disneyland' – has revealed plans for a huge new hotel.
Efteling has announced it is building its first onsite accommodation, which is scheduled to be unveiled in spring 2024.
The hotel, named Efteling Grand Hotel, will be seven storeys high and feature an enormous façade and tall arcade giving guests a feeling of grandeur.
The hotel will have 143 rooms and around 700 beds, as well as a spa and a swimming pool.
There will be two restaurants for guests to choose from, one of which will overlook the park's Aquanura water show, which uses 200 fountains and 900 lights to bring fairy tales to life.
Both hotel guests and theme park guests will be welcome to dine at either restaurant.

Sticking with the grand theme, the hotel will feature seven towers that will frame a giant clock with a pendulum sitting on the roof.
The new hotel will sit behind the main entrance of the park and there will be a large square where theme park guests can relax.
Sander de Brujin, head designer of the new hotel, said: "This striking and unique addition will be the central point in the world of Efteling, inspired by the history of the park and Scandinavian ports.
"In terms of design, this hotel fits in with other characteristic buildings at Efteling, but its shape and functionality give it a character all of its own. Nature, greenery and water are the connecting factors."

"Hotel guests, as well as visitors of the theme park, will be able to discover the wonderful environment of this new place from early until late."
Currently, the theme park has no onsite accommodation, although visitors can stay at nearby hotels or holiday rooms.
Efteling spans 494 acres and features rollercoasters, attractions, shows and films. The park is suitable for families with children of all ages.
Parents claim the theme park, while less fluffy than Disney – as it features darker themes to the fairy-tale rides – is better.
To visit, it's 30 minutes from Eindhoven airport, or a three-hour drive from Calais.
In other theme park news, the planning application for a £3.5bn park dubbed the 'UK Disneyland' has been withdrawn.
Developers say they plan to resubmit the application for the London Resort later this year.
