  • They are being run by Match Hospitality, which runs luxury hospitality at Formula One events 
  • There will be five categories of lounges, with the Pearl Lounge being the most lavish
  • Of the five lounges, three are ‘in-stadium’, with two located within the stadium security perimeter
  • The second-tier lounge – the Private Suite – will be available at every World Cup stadium 

The Fifa World Cup 2022 in Qatar promises to be a mouthwatering sporting treat – even more so for VIP spectators, judging by the now-unveiled hospitality suites they’ll enjoy.

They are being run by Match Hospitality, which runs luxury hospitality at F1 events, with the firm revealing that the lounges at the World Cup will be divided into five categories. In order of prestige, they are Pearl Lounge, Private Suite, Business Seat, Pavilion and Club.

Highlights of the lounges, all pictured below in renderings, include six-course meals, live chef stations, bespoke cocktails and ‘lavish’ decor – plus the best views in the house.

Pearl Lounge 

 Pearl Lounge is the ‘six-star’ offering and is described as ‘the pinnacle of hospitality’

Pearl Lounge is a space with ‘lavish decor’ that’s ‘perfectly situated right above the halfway line at the Lusail Stadium’ 

Match Hospitality says of Pearl Lounge: ‘This is the most luxurious commercial lounge at the Fifa World Cup. It is the first thought and the final word in the story of luxe sporting hospitality’

Pearl Lounge is the ‘six-star’ offering and is described as ‘the pinnacle of hospitality’, a space with ‘lavish decor’ that’s ‘perfectly situated right above the halfway line at the Lusail Stadium’.

Lusail Stadium is the venue for the final and is the only one with a Pearl Lounge.

Match Hospitality adds: ‘This is the most luxurious commercial lounge at the Fifa World Cup. It is the first thought and the final word in the story of luxe sporting hospitality.’

Services will include a ‘six-course gastronomic showcase’, live chef stations, a selection of Champagnes and artisanal coffees, a mixologist for cocktails and guests will receive an ‘exceptional commemorative gift’. 

Private Suite 

The Private Suite, available at all the stadiums, is the ‘five-star’ World Cup hospitality offering 

Guests in Private Suites will enjoy a private dining experience, including a curated five-course sampling menu 

According to Match Hospitality, Private Suites will offer an elevated vantage point and direct access to ‘top-choice stadium seating’ 

The Private Suite, available at all the stadiums, is the ‘five-star’ World Cup hospitality offering, where ‘discerning clientele’ will enjoy a private dining experience, including a curated five-course sampling menu, sommelier-selected wines and extended service before, during and after matches.

According to Match Hospitality these suites will offer an elevated vantage point and direct access to ‘top-choice stadium seating’.

In addition, guests will receive an ‘exclusive commemorative gift’.

Business Seat 

The ‘Business Seat’ lounges, available at Lusail Stadium and Al Bayt Stadium, are ranked with four stars 

Features of the Match Business Seat include four-course menus, live cooking stations and a range of drinks

Business Seat guests will have ‘easy access to prime, comfortable top-category seating’

The ‘Business Seat’ lounges, available at Lusail Stadium and Al Bayt Stadium, are ranked with four stars and billed as an ‘outstanding’ World Cup experience.

Features include four-course menus, live cooking stations and a range of drinks, from Champagne, spirts and beer to cocktails and mocktails.

Guests will also have ‘easy access to prime, comfortable top-category seating’.

Pavilion 

 Match Hospitality describes Pavilion as a ‘majlis-inspired meeting spot for fans’

 Match Pavilion is a ‘three-star’ hospitality offering available at Lusail Stadium and Al Bayt Stadium

Match Pavilion lounges will be located in the ‘festive hospitality village within the stadium security perimeter’ 

Behold the ‘three-star’ hospitality offering – Match Pavilion, available at Lusail Stadium and Al Bayt Stadium. 

Match Hospitality describes Pavilion as a ‘majlis-inspired meeting spot for fans’ [majlis is an Arabic term meaning ‘a place of sitting’] offering ‘a superior spectator environment, interactive displays and pre-match guest appearances’.

They will be located in the ‘festive hospitality village within the stadium security perimeter’ and guests will be served a three-course ‘deli-style’ menu.

Pavilion guests will also receive a ‘category one’ match ticket. 

Club 

Match Club will be available adjacent to Lusail Stadium and Al Bayt Stadium and is billed as the ‘two-star’ hospitality offering 

At Match Club guests will enjoy ‘trendy, global, street-food-style dining for people on the move’

The match ticket for Club guests will be ‘category one’ and a commemorative gift will be offered 

Match Club will be available adjacent to Lusail Stadium and Al Bayt Stadium and is billed as the ‘two-star’ hospitality offering.

Before and after the match, guests will enjoy ‘trendy, global, street-food-style dining for people on the move’, plus soft drinks, wine and beer.

The match ticket for Club guests will be ‘category one’ and a commemorative gift will be offered.
