With travel abroad still up in the air, UK staycations are the holiday of choice for many this summer.
But if you’re looking to take a break from Airbnbs and hotels, there’s a new launch that should be on your radar.
The Hoxton has announced an exclusive road trip experience – an escalation of its glamping experience, Camp Hox, last year.
Guests can book a four-day road trip in a custom VW camper van with four different global destinations to choose from – including the UK’s south coast.
And when global travel opens up, trips around California, Holland and Normandy will also be available.
For the UK tour, drivers will start in East Sussex, where they’ll cruise along the coast, then journey on to the Kent Riviera, before heading back to the London hotel for a night in the city.
There will be a suggested itinerary, with tried and tested beauty spots, beaches, rambles, picnic stops and local lunch recommendations. Guests can follow it exactly or use it as a guide for their own adventure.
All of the campsites will be pre-booked, too, so there’s no need to worry about that either.
Bookings go live on Tuesday May 4th, with limited spots available from May 27th – September 27th.
For a midweek trip for two adults from Monday to Friday it’ll cost £795, whereas a Thursday-Monday stint will cost £895.
The Hoxton’s CMO, Martina Luger, said: ‘Last summer we pulled Camp Hox together in record time and it was incredibly popular and well received.
‘We love the idea of being able to take The Hoxton experience outside of our four walls and explore what that might look like, allowing us to curate not just a space but a whole Hoxton-curated adventure for our guests.
‘This year’s campervan experience strives to celebrate the idea of getting back out there exploring, and responds to what people are really wanting and needing right now. We can’t wait to see the adventures unfold.’
