The Lensbury has its own watersports centre, where adventurous guests can have fun on the river.
Those seeking a spot of R&R can treat themselves to a Swedish massage or a Lensbury signature facial at the spa.
You are also in a prime location for visiting Hampton Court Palace, Kew Gardens and two of the Royal Parks.
What is there to eat and drink at The Lensbury?
Eating at the Lounge Restaurant is a must.
The gastro-pub style food is exceptional, matched by attentive, friendly staff.
We tucked into rack of lamb and rib-eye steak and finished off with an Eton mess and tangy chocolate orange tart.
Luckily, we still had space for the delicious buffet breakfast in the morning.

There are 155 rooms in a range of styles – we stayed in a luxurious Deluxe Double.
Nice touches included a Nespresso coffee machine, fridge with complimentary still and sparkling water and good-quality bath robes.
