THERE'S an adventure park in the UK that claims to be the "strangest place in the world" – and holidaymakers love it.
The school summer holidays has plenty of people planning days out, with adventure parks being a popular choice for families.
One place people might not have considered is The Forbidden Corner in North Yorkshire.
The lesser-known adventure park set near Leyburn in the Yorkshire Dales has dubbed itself as the "strangest place in the world".
It's received praise from holidaymakers too including the travel blog called Get Lost, which specialises in travel in Yorkshire.
They wrote: "It’s safe to say that I’ve never encountered anywhere quite like The Forbidden Corner."

In the same post, they described the UK adventure park as "mind-blowing" and a cross between Alice and Wonderland and a David Bowie movie from the 1980s.
The park gets good ratings from the public with an overall score of 4.5/5 from more than 3,400 reviews on TripAdvisor.
One person wrote: "The leaflet says it’s the strangest place on earth – it’s a pretty accurate description."
Another added: "A hidden Gem, we loved our time here, it was a lovely day out and a brilliant place to take the kids."

Holidaymakers have also raved about the little-know attraction on TikTok too.
TikTok user Morgan, who is known as morganrhiannax on the social media platform, posted a video all about her day out.
She wrote: "We played like little kids for the day."
The Forbidden Corner stretches across four acres of land and is home to a unique labyrinth of tunnels and chambers.
Visitors are given a checklist of attractions to tick off as they make their way through the stone passageways.

Because there's no map of the park, guests will need to make their way through a giant stone maze, which includes a series of dark tunnels and small holes.
Daytrippers will also find dead-ends that lead to nowhere with puzzles to solve and tricks to avoid.
Several features are new for this year too including the Tower Fort where guests can purchase hot dogs, ice creams, and hot and cold beverages.
There are also wooden huts that can be hired out for birthday parties and special occasions.
Other facilities include a coffee shop and a gift shop.
Entry into the adventure park costs £16.50 for a full-paying adult, and £14.50 for children aged four to 15, while children under four go free.
The Forbidden Corner is open between 10am to 6pm, but will close at dusk in the winter months.
Meanwhile, an unusual theme park has been crowned as one of the best attractions in the UK by TripAdvisor.
Sundown Adventureland in the Midlands was named one of the best amusement and water parks in Europe by Tripadvisor.
