TOURISTS who get rain during their Isle Of Wight summer holidays are being given money off a future visit.
One ferry company has added a "sunshine" guarantee on holidays to a popular destination in the UK.
Red Funnel, which operates between Southampton and the Isle of Wight, is dishing out vouchers if the trip is disrupted by rain.
Dubbed the "splashback" discount, several conditions need to be met before holidaymakers can claim the voucher.
Brit holidaymakers will need to be staying on the Isle Of Wight for at least five nights in either June, July, or August, and during their stay, one day, of eight hours or more, must be disrupted by rain.
The "splashback" offer is only open to customers who are travelling onto the island on a private vehicle like a car, minibus, motorhome, or motorcycle.
