A BEACH in the UK has been compared to Thailand by holidaymakers who can't believe it's in this country.
Far more people are looking to find places to holiday closer to home this year, with trips abroad becoming increasingly expensive.
One place that could fool people into thinking they're abroad is Broadsands Beach in Devon.
Compared to Thailand by travel experts and holidaymakers, the beach has blue waters, golden sands, and towering cliffs.
The tourism experts Holiday in Exmoor said: "When the sun's out, it looks like a beach in Thailand."
It's not only travel experts who've likened this beach to Thailand, but holidaymakers on social media platforms have also spotted the similarities.

The video has had more than 30,000 views with people in the comments comparing the beach to exotic locations.
One person agreed with Hannah and wrote: "It looks like Krabi in Thailand."
Meanwhile, another person added: "It looks like the beach from Jurassic Park."
Despite being a fictional location, Jurassic Park was set in Central America.
In the comments, other people described the beach as a "hidden gem" and "beautiful".
The beach is in North Devon and is nestled between Ilfracombe and Combe Martin.
For holidaymakers who want to visit this tropical haven, the easiest way to arrive there is by car.
From the Broadsands car park, visitors will need to walk down 240 steps down to the beach.
There aren't many facilities on the beach but it has been described as "one of the best swimming beaches on the coast" by the Beach Guide.
As well as swimming, beachgoers are also welcome to bring their own water sports equipment like paddle boards.
While there are toilet facilities on the beach, customers will need to pay 30p each time they use the loo.
There aren't any cafes or restaurants on the beach, so holidaymakers will need to bring their own food and drink.
But there are several other, more equipped beach nearby, like Combe Martin, Wild Pear Beach, and Hele Bay.
Meanwhile, these are some of the best hot tub staycations to book this year.
