THE NEW UK Covid strain has led to countries across Europe closing their borders to Brits, with new Brexit rules also preventing travel.
Since January 1, when the new Brexit deal began, the UK became a "third country" which means they face new restrictions from the EU in light of the pandemic.
This means that as the UK is a high risk country, many destinations will no longer permit travellers entry.

While some destinations remain open – which include Greece and Estonia, along with non-EU popular destinations such as Dubai and the Maldives – many are closed until further notice.
