The UK pub that has its own beach – and the 'best views in the country' | The Sun

A PUB in the UK has some of the best views in the country – as well as its own beach.

Eddystone Inn is found in Devon in Heybrook Bay, a tiny village on the South West Coast Path.



Along with sea views, the pub serves both food and drink including Sunday roasts and fresh fish from the bay.

You can even get married at the pub, with them offering celebrations along with birthdays and christenings.

People have praised the pub, with one saying on TripAdvisor: "The amazing new menu has so much choice now it was really hard to decide, it had one of the best pub menus I’ve seen.

"Could not fault anything."

The pub also owns the nearby Heybrook Beach.

Found in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the tiny cove is popular with both locals and tourists.

It isn't easy to get to – with a rocky path going down to the shore – but many have praised its crystal blue waters.

If you fancy it for yourself, both the pub and the beach are up for sale.

On sale for £1.5million, it also includes two apartments and car park.

Listed by Bettesworths, director Matt Bettesworth said: “Bettesworths is thrilled to offer this totally unique opportunity to the market.

It's not the only pub on the beach to visit this summer.

The Ty Coch Inn in the village of Porthdinllaen near Morfa Nefyn, Gwynedd, Wales has been voted one of the ten best beach bars in the world.

And the Ship Inn in Low Newton-by-the-Sea, in Northumberland once claimed top spot in a list of the best beach pubs in the country put together by Conde Nast Traveller.
