THOMAS Cook has up to 40% off package holidays in its Black Friday sale.

The travel company has included a range of breaks in its discount this week, including beachfront resorts, cities and bed and breakfasts.

Popular UK tourist hotspots including Majorca, Greece, Barcelona and Turkey are among the destinations, as well as Egypt, Dubai and Rome.

Some deals have already been launched on the Thomas Cook website.

Others will be launched on Friday and run through to next week.

There are a range of four and five star hotels available for anyone looking for a luxurious holiday.

A week stay at a five-star seafront resort in the heart of Bodrum, Turkey, including flights from Gatwick is available from £380pp.

At ever so slightly more, a one week stay at a four star bed and breakfast in Majorca including flights from London Stansted is on offer from £397pp.

A one week stay at a family-friendly five star hotel in Egypt with flights from Gatwick starts at £633pp.

And for anyone hoping to travel even further afield to bag a 40 per cent holiday discount, a week-long stay at a five star hotel in Dubai including flights from Heathrow is available from £711.

For those less concerned about staying in a five star hotel, a week in a bed and breakfast in Portugal with flights from London Stanstead begins at £165pp.

And a week stay in a self-catered apartment in Greece including flights from London Stanstead starts at £181pp.

If you're looking for a winter getaway, you can get a two-night holiday including flights from £22pp to places like Krakow and Prague.
