Take it slow
Slower, thoughtful, more responsible travel may become a positive after the pandemic. With that aim, this year sees the launch of Byway, a sustainable, flight-free, ABTA-protected travel company.
It aims to get travellers exploring by train, boat and bike, offering trips off the beaten track to local hotspots, hidden viewpoints and awe-inspiring detours.
It currently offers trips across the UK and France, and holiday packages start at £160pp for three nights (based on two people sharing).
