A TRAVELLER has claimed to have a money-saving hack that he uses at airports, but not everyone is convinced by it.
Drinking water while travelling is very important, with the air on planes leading passengers to become dehydrated quicker than normal.
That's why Tiktok user 'isthatmike' decided to share what he labelled his "favourite travel airport hack" with others.
In a video on the social media site, Mike is seen taking an empty 1.5 litre water bottle through airport security.
He then takes the bottle to a pub in the airport departure lounge and asks for it to be filled to the top.
He described it as a "creative" method to avoid having to splash out on bottled water.

"Every time I travel by plane, I like to bring an empty bottle of water to take through the airport security.
"Once I'm on the other side, I find the nearest bar or restaurant and ask them to fill it up with tap water for me."
Nearly 50k people have watched his video on TikTok.

Some people were impressed with Mike's tip, with thousands liking the video and said they would love to use it in the future.
One wrote: "Smart hack, thanks."
Another said: "The price of water, which we need to survive, is ridiculous."
However, others pointed out that the man didn't need to visit bars and restaurants, with water fountains and bottle refill stations now common at most airports in the UK.
One person who knew about the refill areas said: "Aren't there water fountains in Airports? No need to get tap water."
In fact, former flight attendant Arina Bloom once said that passengers could fill their bottles up on the plane, as well as in the airport.
