TUI has been forced to cancel more holidays to a popular hotspot for Brits until next month.
The tour operator has updated their current travel advice for any hoildaymakers planning to travel to Sri Lanka this month.
The country remains on the UK Foreign Office travel ban list due to ongoing unrest.
TUI has been forced to cancel holidays to Sri Lanka all summer, and has now confirmed more trips will be cancelled until the end of August.
TUI said in a statement on their website: "Due to the ongoing political and economic instability in Sri Lanka, the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) have advised against all but essential travel.
"As a result, we’ve unfortunately had to cancel all holidays to Sri Lanka departing up to and including 15 August 2022.

"We will be proactively contacting all impacted customers in departure date order to discuss their options."
Passengers travelling through Sri Lanka on connecting flights aren't affected by the cancellations.
The current advice from the UK government states:"The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) advises against all but essential travel to Sri Lanka, due to the impact of the current economic crisis."
It's not the only reason holidaymakers may find their flights being cancelled this summer.

A number of airline staff are threatening to strike – five months of Ryanair strikes in Spain have already started.
Cabin crew members will hold the walkouts every week from Monday to Thursday which will last until January 7 due to an ongoing dispute over pay.
EasyJet staff are also going on strike this month.
Pilots from the budget airline will stage the walkouts across three different three-day periods, totalling nine days altogether.

The first of the easyJet strikes will take place from August 12-14, the second from August 19-21 and the third and final strike will be from August 27-29.
