TUNISIA is relaxing their travel rules for vaccinated Brits – making it easier and cheaper to visit.
The current rules require anyone entering the country to have a negative PCR test or lateral flow test before travelling.
However, the Tunisian Embassy in London confirmed that from tomorrow, anyone who has had both jabs will no longer need to provide a negative test before arriving.
They said they can skip the testing “if they can present a certificate to prove they have been fully vaccinated or a vaccine pass”.
Anyone over the age of six who is yet to be vaccinated will still need to take a PCR test 48 hours before travelling or a lateral flow test 24 hours before travelling.
Travellers may be randomly tested on arrival and anyone who received a positive result will have to quarantine for at least five days.
It is great news for Brits planning a beach holiday, who can save up to £100 now they now longer need to take Covid tests.
There are also some bargain holiday deals, with trips to Tunisia from £132pp with LoveHolidays or for £281pp with TUI.
