Turkey holiday boost as travel warnings scrapped for Brits | The Sun

BRITS heading to Turkey have been given a holiday boost as the UK government has lifted a number of travel warnings.

While most of Turkey is deemed safe for Brits, some parts were on the travel ban list.

This includes the regions of Tunceli, Diyarbakir, Kilis and Hatay provinces in the south.

But the Foreign Office has scrapped the travel warnings in place for these areas.

They stated: "The FCDO no longer advises against all but essential travel to Tunceli, Diyarbakir, Kilis and Hatay provinces."

Previously, the areas were on the travel ban list, advising against all travel, due to their proximity to the Syrian border.
