AIRPORTS in the UK have issued new travel advice for Brits with flights in the upcoming days.
Roads and trains are expected to be much busier until next week during the period of mourning following the Queen's death.
A number of airports have warned holidaymakers to allow extra time to get to their flights because of this.
Both Manchester Airport and Stansted Airport issued the following advice: "Across the transport industry, services are expected to be much busier than usual throughout the period of mourning.
"Plan ahead, check before you travel and allow more time for your journey."
Gatwick Airport also said: "Travelling to and from Gatwick between now and 19 September?

"We expect roads and trains to be busier than usual as people visit London to pay tribute to Her Majesty the Queen.
"Allow extra time and plan your journey to and from the airport in advance."
Heathrow Airport has already confirmed that a number of flights will be delayed today during the Queen's procession.
Flights will be disrupted between 1.50pm and 3.40pm to “ensure silence over central London as the ceremonial procession moves from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall”.
The west London airport said in a statement that “out of respect” for the mourning period it will be making “appropriate alterations to our operation”.

Flights are also likely to be affected on September 19 during the Queen's funeral.
Their latest statement regarding travelling to the airport reads: "he procession of Her Majesty the Queen’s Coffin to St. George’s Chapel, Windsor, will take place on Mon 19 Sept, impacting local roads around Heathrow.
"We recommend passengers consider alternative airport routes such as the Piccadilly, Elizabeth Lines, or Heathrow Express."
Edinburgh also closed its airspace yesterday while the Queen's coffin was flown from Scotland to London.
Queen Elizabeth II will leave Buckingham Palace for the final time before lying in state begins in Westminster later this evening.
The procession will leave the palace at 2.22pm and is expected to arrive at Westminster Hall at 3pm.

Members of the public are already queueing for the Queen's lying in state at Westminster Hall, which opens today, and thousands are still placing floral tributes in Green Park.
The Queen will then be laid to rest at 11am on Monday, September 19.
