THE UK's cheapest cities for Easter breaks this year have been revealed – and it includes the best seaside town.
As the cost of living crisis continues to hit families hard, a quick trip abroad this half-term isn't in reach for some.
However, it doesn't mean Brits don't want to escape their everyday surroundings.
With the weather looking to brighten up, a trip to a UK seaside town could be the little getaway needed.
While some beach locations in the country are still fairly expensive, one came within the top 10.
Portsmouth has made the list of the most cost-effective trips to take this Easter.

According to Jersey Island Holidays, the weekend break will cost your around £655.
And while this may seem steep to begin with, it includes Airbnb and hotel rates, meal and drink prices, local transport fees, taxi fares and activities.
The travel company said: "Many of us are looking forward to making the most of the weather getting better and getting away for a weekend break – particularly after a costly and cold winter.
"However, Brits might be surprised to see how expensive a staycation is, as it’s typically thought of as a cheaper holiday alternative."

They said flexible dates would make the holiday even cheaper.
"Preparation is key in order to reduce the price where possible, as you should look for package deals – particularly if you’re wanting to get away during a peak period – and to be flexible when booking exact dates as a Thursday-Saturday stay often proves cheaper than a Friday-Sunday break," they added.
The cheapest location in the country is Leicester after the study considered two nights of accommodation, restaurant meals, fast food lunches, taxi rides, public transport and a cinema/theatre trip.
Coventry came in second at a cost of around £581.
London ranked as the most expensive weekend break at £1,230.
Manchester would set you back about £980, Edinburgh £847 and Brighton £799.
