SEVERAL hotel guests were recently shamed online after they were caught with a huge stash of freebies in their room.
While many people think certain hotel room items like toiletries are fair game, some hotel guests have been known to take things that they really shouldn't.
Hotel guests at a five-star resort in Antalya in Turkey were shamed online recently after they were caught with a huge pile of freebies.
Their loot was discovered by hotel cleaning staff who'd attempted to tidy the room.
The members of staff had discovered piles of food, tea, coffee, towels, and toiletries that had been hoarded by the Russian hotel guests.
In a video that emerged on Russian social media, the king-sized bed was piled high with bags of items that had allegedly been stolen from public areas of the hotel.

The guests are said to have stored items like dried figs, apricots, tea bags, cans of soft drinks, fresh fruit, crackers, and butter.
According to local media, the haul was estimated to have weighed around 35kg (77lb).
In the clip, the Russian hotel guests were confronted by hotel staff as they prepared to check out from the resort.
One tourist is said to have told staff that some of the goods were "given to her in the restaurant" and that they had been left as "gifts" for the cleaners.

While pinching toiletries may seem like a rite of passage, some experts believe there are unwritten guidelines on what's actually acceptable to take.
Mehmet Erdem, an associate professor of hotel operations and technology at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, said: "Toiletries, such as bar soap, shampoo, and disposable slippers, are okay to take.
