A WOMAN has divided opinion after she was invited on a friend's family holiday – and admitted she wasn't going to pay for anything..

Carly Clement, a dental assistant from the US, made the admission on her TikTok account.

She said: "POV: You're on family vacation with your best friend [and] her dad keeps making eye contact becausetold him I didn't bring any money on the trip."

The video then shows her sitting at a restaurant, before flipping to the dad who was looking over.

The video has since been watched more than 2.8M times on TikTok.

Some people understood where she was coming from, seeing as she had been invited on the trip.

One person wrote: "If they invited you they should pay for food and for whatever they all plan to do together."

A second agreed: "I would never expect an invited guest, especially a friend of my child, to pay."

However, most people didn't agree, saying she was an adult and should have paid.

One wrote: "You should def be paying babe."

A third had their own experience of this: "My ex bestie acted this way & I drop kicked her to the curb."

The dad, Jeff, even commented on his own TikTok account, saying it was all a joke.

TikTok user Holy Morridge admitted to committing the "ultimate holiday sin" in the video, after constantly arriving too late and missing the best spots.

Having spent too many days on the "uncomfortable chairs" at her resort, she took action and arrived first thing in the morning to reserve one of the comfortable beds overlooking the beach.
