This holiday home in Devon comes with its own private beach bar, and it's available from £83pp per night.

The seafront beach house is located in Bigbury-on-Sea and can sleep up to eight people, all of whom can make the most of its bar complete with sea-view.


The home, nicknamed 'Stargazy' has four bedrooms decorated with "contemporary coastal interiors".

They include one master en-suite with superking bed, one kingsize and one twin room. Opposite the master is a small bedroom with bunkbeds.

Outside, the property boasts a rear terraced deck for dining and lounging, as well as the highlight of the property, the bar.

There's also a sunny front balcony for further dining and relaxing.

The front deck is accessed via an open plan living area with sliding glass doors that open onto beach views.

The house overlooks the Bigbury-on-Sea beach, where guests can take a ride across to Burgh Island on the sea tractor, try windsurfing or just relax.

A golf club, coastal paths and harbour towns like Dartmouth and Salcombe are all nearby, providing lots of great options for visitors.

The holiday home costs from £345 a night off season, but that doesn't take into account the eye-watering £450 cleaning fee and the £193 service fee.

So if guests were to rent the property for the required minimum of two nights in January, it would actually cost £1,333, which works out at £666.50 a night – or £83pp.

If you're looking at peak season, the property goes up to £675 a night, plus a £450 and a £877 service fee, which is a total of £6,052 for the minimum seven nights – working out at £864.57 a night – or £108pp.

The single story house has an outdoor shower around the back where guests can rinse off their sandy feet after a day on the beach.

The top deck of the property has a giant L shaped outdoor sofa, a coffee table, a long teak table and 10 chairs.

It is also where the bar, The Stargazy Arms, can be found.

It has six tall wicker stools, an under-counter fridge, a freezer for ice, optics on the wall and a wine rack.

The bar is stocked with gin, vodka, rum, soft drinks and has an honesty bar for anything guests use.


There's also Wifi, a dart board, a Sonos speaker and a charcoal BBQ. 

The house has an overall score of 4.96/5 from 27 reviews on Airbnb.

One guest wrote: "Lovely well equipped house with great views. Delicious and much enjoyed welcome basket. Very comfortable beds."

Another said: "Fantastic property with fab outdoor bar area and really close proximity for the beach. Great for a family celebratory weekend away.

A third added: "The place was incredible, with stunning views from all over of the cliffs and the sea, which was all directly opposite."

Meanwhile, you can rent a holiday home elsewhere in the UK with its own pub from £87pp a night, with extra cheap beer.

And this landlord built a pub in his back garden and made £1,500 renting it out to others.
