Perhaps the most aspirational aspect of any new-age summer holiday dating show is not the hot boys, gym bodies or school-like romances – it’s the living situation.
Not a Love Island episode goes by where we don’t dream of waking up to a sun-trap of a garden with a huge pool and firepit.
And Too Hot To Handle’s Casa Tau potentially takes the cake for being the most luxurious glorified couples’ hotel on telly.
That’s probably why it’s now the priciest Airbnb in the entire world.
For an eye-watering (and, frankly, head-scratching) £27,600 a night – yes, a night – you can stay in the famous beachfront villa in Mexico’s Punta Mita Community in Los Ranchos.
Perfect for a ‘family reunion’ or ‘corporate retreat’ (according to the Airbnb listing), the luxurious home is made up of the main villa and two guest houses, and can accommodate up to twenty-seven people a night (just over £1,000 each, if you’re wondering).
In total there are 12 bedrooms and 16 bathrooms as well as numerous lounges and outdoor space.
In fairness, the villa has everything you could ask for, including a gym, a media room and loads of areas to chill out, including a stone pizza oven and barbeque outside.
It even comes with twice-daily housekeeping, chef and laundry services, a twenty-four-hour butler, and preference membership to the resort’s golf and beach clubs.
I mean, we can dream.
If you have the big bucks and fancy a taste of luxury, you can book a stay at Casa Tau on Airbnb Luxe.
