You can stay in a former army truck that kids will love – and it's just £25 each a night | The Sun

A FORMER army truck has been converted into a staycation let – and you can spend the night in it.

Kids will love the army truck – called Big Daf – which now lives on a farm in Wye Valley in South Wales.

The truck sleeps up to four people, with camouflage duvet bunk beds and a sofabed that turns into a king-size.

Inside is also a mini kitchenette, seating area and TV as well as a bathroom with a fully equipped toilet and shower.

However, outside the converted van is a covered private terrace, which has its own wood-fired hot tub you can enjoy even if it's raining.

Families can store their bikes there too, if they fancy some adventure in the nearby Forest of Dean or Brecon Beacons.

You'll have to like animals though, as there is a friendly goat who stays nearby.

Former guests sang the van's praises after staying there.

One mum wrote: "The kids loved playing in the cab and talking to the friendly goats!

"The hot tub was great too and the outside area is nice to chill in."
