You could be in with a chance to stay in Carrie Bradshaw's New York apartment

Ever wanted to see New York the way that Carrie Bradshaw does? Well now you can, and through her very own windows no less.

To mark the upcoming release of the HBO Max Original And Just Like That… (the new chapter of Sex and the City), Sarah Jessica Parker herself will host an Airbnb version of Carrie’s iconic New York apartment.

The flat is a faithful recreation of Carrie’s enviable brownstone apartment, including that beautiful walk-in closet full of clothes.

Guests will be offered the chance to sip cosmopolitans and chat with friends on a circa-2000 cordless phone.

They can also enjoy a Carrie-esque wardrobe of clothes – including the Patricia Field tutu she wears in the opening credits – as well as a brunch in Chelsea, and will have the opportunity to get involved in a photoshoot.

On top of that, guests will also get a virtual greeting at check-in from Sarah herself, and a narration reminiscent of each episode’s intro.

The catch? Other than the fact that there will be stiff competition to secure a spot, you have to live in the United States to request a booking, and guests are responsible for their own travel to and from New York City

From November 12-13, the place will be available for two, one-night stays for up to two guests each – at just $23 a night (slightly over £17), plus tax and fees.

The opportunity marks the 23-year anniversary since we first met Carrie and her friends.

You can request a booking from Monday November 8, at noon Eastern Time – AKA 4pm UK time.

Bear in mind that you’ll have to abide by the local COVID-19 guidelines during your stay.

Available in partnership with Airbnb and Warner Bros Consumer Products, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Sex and the City superfans – so you’ll want to move fast when bookings open.

‘The Carrie Bradshaw character is near and dear to my heart, and revisiting her world for the continuation of the Sex and the City story has been such a joy,’ says Sarah.

‘I’m excited for our audience to experience Carrie’s New York like never before and walk in her shoes, quite literally, for the first time.’
