Two Pennsylvania women who appeared in a video during the Capitol riot where one said she wanted to shoot House Speaker Nancy Pelosi “in the friggin’ brain” are facing multiple federal charges after a tipster alerted the FBI.

Dawn Bancroft and Diana Santos-Smith initially lied about their participation in the raid, but admitted their roles after being confronted with surveillance video showing them climbing through a broken window at the Capitol on Jan. 6, according to a criminal complaint filed by the FBI.

Bancroft, who owns a CrossFit gym in Plumstead, Penn., according to the Bucks County Courier Times, filmed the selfie video, according to the FBI’s criminal complaint. In it, the two women can be seen in a bottlenecked crowd trying to exit the Capitol.

“We broke into the Capitol … we got inside, we did our part,” Bancroft said to the camera, the complaint said. “We were looking for Nancy to shoot her in the friggin’ brain but we didn’t find her.”

The FBI believes she was referring to Nancy Pelosi, the Democratic speaker from California.

The video was sent to the FBI by a tipster on Jan. 12. Bancroft had deleted it from her phone, and also shared it with her children, but told them to delete it as well.

Both Bancroft and Santos-Smith told authorities that they were in the building for no more than a minute and denied entering any legislative offices.

They were changed with three federal counts related to entering a restricted building and engaging in disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds.

It’s not clear what town Santos-Smith lives in or whether the women knew each other before Jan. 6. They are among about 175 participants in the riot from across the country facing a raft of charges related to the riot.
