THE BEAUTY queen ex-wife of the former Malaysian king has unveiled a cute New Year picture of her son amidst a bitter divorce and paternity row.
Russian stunner Oksana Voevodina, 28, posted an adorable snap of toddler Leon to her Instagram account amidst a tumultuous divorce feud with Malaysian Sultan Muhammad V.
The former Miss Moscow, who married the Sultan in 2018 before the pair divorced a year later, said the picture was part of her plan to “start differently”.
Voevodina gave birth to her son – whose full name is Tengku Ismail Leon Petra – in May 2019 but it is reported she was put under pressure by the Royal family to stop showing images of him online.
But it seems the stunning model has decided to take matters into her own hands, telling her 595,000 followers: “This year I decided to start differently and change the position of expectation to action.”
The new picture shows the mum in a glamorous buttercup-coloured cutaway dress, cuddling her adorable 19-month-old, who is smartly dressed in grey tweed trousers and blazer.
We all want our wishes to be fulfilled
The caption reads: “We all want our wishes to be fulfilled. By themselves or with someone's help.
“This year I decided to start differently and change the position of expectation to action.
“So, my dears, the first thing I did was fulfill your wish-Leon appeared in the profile again.”
Her ex-husband, the former king of Malaysia before he abdicated in January 2019, has not formally recognised he is the baby’s dad.
Singaporean lawyer Koh Tien Hua, speaking on behalf of the sultan, previously told the Straits Times: “There is no objective evidence as yet as to the biological father of the child.”
He added: "On behalf of His Royal Highness, we request his privacy be respected."
The British-educated Sultan, who is now 51, became the first king to abdicate from the throne in Malaysia after the publication of revealing pictures and lurid sex claims about his new wife's past life as a reality TV show star in her homeland.
The pair had married in a traditional Muslim ceremony in June 2018 after the beauty queen converted to Islam two months earlier.
But after the marriage sparked intense scrutiny and controversy, the pair were officially divorced in July 2019.
A copy of the divorce certificate surfaced online, bearing the Kelantan state crest, which said the divorce was registered on July 1.
It indicated the divorce was registered in Singapore and was done by the utterance three times of the word "talak" – the most serious form of divorce in Islam.
Since the divorce it has been reported the former couple have been locked in a bitter dispute over a financial settlement.
The divorcing Russian wife was reportedly demanding an £8million London mansion plus a £24,000 monthly allowance.
