Boozed-up mum bit police officer and attacked another two cops as they shut down 2am lockdown party

A BOOZED-up mum BIT a police officer and attacked another two cops as they shut down her 2am lockdown party.

Maria White, 27, held a late-night house party defying Covid rules in Hull, then angrily bit a female police officer on her hand.

The "nasty" bite mark broke the constable's skin and started bleeding – while the mum-of-two also repeatedly kicked another officer.

After the cops came to shut down the "loud" party, she also threatened to set her dog on them.

And she then threatened to find out where they lived so she could send round some heavies to "sort them out," Hull Daily Mail reports.

Following the violence, the mum admitted to assaulting three officers, two female and one male, on March 13.

Pardeep Dhinsa, prosecuting, said police were called to White's home at 12.15am after reports about loud music.

The music was initially switched off, so the cops left – before returning to reports of more loud music at 2am.

They knocked on the front door and White appeared at the living room window, closed it and would not allow the police in.

And then the mum, who has kids aged nine and five, swore at the officers, while trying to refuse them entry to the home.

Mr Dhinsa said: "She continued shouting for the dog to bite the officers multiple times."

White raised her hands and pushed the male officer in the neck and head area.

She was arrested but struggled and bit down hard on the arm of a female officer, causing a "nasty" bite mark, breaking the skin and bleeding, despite it being through clothes.

She then aggressively kicked another female cop in the shin five times.

The female officer who was bitten later said that White's "aggressive and threatening" actions were "completely disgusting".

She said: "I feel that this was very unnecessary. She wanted to hurt us deliberately just so she could have a house party.

"This has left me feeling distressed and upset. I feel that this will stick with me for a long time."

PARTY RAMPAGE

The male constable said the incident was "utterly disgusting" and added that: "I was simply doing my job as a police officer."

Joe Painter, mitigating, said that White apologised for what happened during the "nasty" confrontation and deeply regretted her behaviour.

He said: "She is very upset at her actions in this incident.

"They do have her heartfelt apologies for the suffering she caused them.

"She has very little recollection of this entire incident. It's completely out of character.

"She is truly ashamed and disgusted with her actions towards the police officers.

"Clearly, there has been an issue with alcohol and it was a big problem in this case."

White was given a 16-week suspended prison sentence, a three-month 8pm to 7am curfew and 15 days' rehabilitation.

She was ordered to pay £250 compensation to the officer who was bitten and £100 to each of the two others.
