Brian Laundrie chased Gabby Petito then strangled her in wilderness after blazing row, sleuths claim

WEB sleuths claim that Brian Laundrie “chased” his fiancée Gabby Petito before strangling her in the wilderness after an alleged row in a restaurant.

Gabby is believed to have been last seen alive with her fiancé at the Merry Piglets Tex-Mex café in Jackson, Wyoming on August 27.

Travel vloggers Jenn and Kyle Bethune spotted Gabby's van parked on a dirt track in Grand Teton National Park's Spread Creek dispersed camping area on the same day.

Gabby's body was found at a campsite on September 19 and coroners believe she was dead for three to four weeks before her remains were discovered.

The body was found around 1000 feet from where the van was parked, according to NewsNationNow journalist Brian Entin.

One Facebook sleuth posted: “How did Gabby’s remains end up where they did? I was wondering if he was chasing her to that spot after getting into a battle royale after Merry Piglets.

“Some people said they camped there. Why would they pick that as a camping spot?”

Laundrie was named a person of interest in Gabby’s murder. He was never named a suspect.

Some social media users were not convinced by the web sleuth's allegations that the 23-year-old “chased” his fiancée.

One commented: “We have no idea what happened for her body to end up in the place it did. We’ll have to wait till the details are released in the future.”

Another added: “I don’t think anyone knows that answer.”

Web detectives questioned reports that Gabby and Laundrie were involved in a “spat” at the Merry Piglets.

An unnamed manager of the café reportedly told Entin: “There were no loud voices, no one got angry, no one threw a fit here.”

But, she claimed that the young couple left the café without paying.

A server then followed Gabby and Laundrie outside and the pair paid the bill on the street.

Entin said the manager told him that Gabby and Laundrie re-entered the restaurant where the YouTuber tried to get her money back. The café refused to refund the vlogger.

In September, Nina Celie Angelo claimed she saw Laundrie involved in an “explosive argument” with a waitress at the restaurant.

During an interview with Fox News, she claimed she watched on in shock as she saw an “agitated” Laundrie.

While she said she couldn't hear what words were being exchanged between Laundrie and the woman, she believed the spat was either over the bill or about money.

Angelo described Laundrie's body language as "aggressive" and said that he left and returned to the restaurant around four times.

BRIAN WAS 'AGITATED'

She alleged that at one point Gabby came into the restaurant and apologized for Laundrie’s behavior.

Angelo told Fox: “It’s crazy because it wasn’t just like we passed them on the street – it was a full-blown incident.”

A manager at Merry Piglets previously told The Sun the eatery is incredibly busy during the summer months and that they couldn't specifically recall the alleged incident.

In a later statement to CNN, a manager said they did see "an incident" in the restaurant that day and later reported it to the FBI.

The manager declined to describe what happened when being quizzed.

Angelo's boyfriend, Matthew England, told Fox News he had no doubt it was Gabby and Laundrie that he saw.

He said the bodycam footage from the incident in Moab, Utah matched the mannerisms and body language that they apparently witnessed first-hand.

England said Laundrie was wearing clothes that he recognized from the clip, adding it "looked kind of like he had been living out in a van for a little while."

'I'M SURE IT'S HIM'

He said: "I would bet $10million, I'm 1,000 percent sure that was him and that was her."

Gabby and her fiancé were at the restaurant just weeks before her remains were found.

FBI detectives unearthed her body and a preliminary autopsy ruled that her manner of death was a homicide.

Weeks later, Wyoming coroners revealed that the vlogger died from strangulation. Gabby wasn’t pregnant at the time of her death.

Only the cause and manner of Gabby’s death were revealed due to state laws.

It’s not known who killed Gabby, but DNA found on her body could provide a “huge clue” to cops as they continue their investigation.

Paul Belli, an ex lieutenant of the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, told CNN: “You would expect DNA on either one of them from the other. But I mean, if there’s DNA maybe where it shouldn’t be, that could be kind of a clue as to what may have occurred.

“So there are ways to absolutely, at least get you to a point where you’re like ‘Ok this definitely makes sense, this is the person who did this crime.”
